The rheumatology clinics at DHMC are subspecialized. Patients are required to relay to the call center staff their problems or diagnoses so that they can direct them to the rheumatology clinic that is concerned with their medical problem
One: Diagnosis and management of patients complaining of rheumatic symptoms as pain or swelling or stiffness of joints of the body
Two: Management of patients suffering of rheumatic diseases
The scope of rheumatic diseases encompasses:
Autoimmune diseases: as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, palindromic rheumatic, Sjogren's syndrome, lupus, vasculitis, mixed connective tissue diseases and scleroderma
Non-autoimmune diseases as gout, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis,
Regional pain problems: neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, hand and wrist pain, knee pain, ankle pain, foot or heel pain
Note to patients with autoimmune diseases:
Patients with lupus, vasculitis, mixed connective tissue diseases and scleroderma are seen only at the clinics of Dr. Sally Samy and are no longer seen at the clinic of Dr. Hatem Eleishi. Dr. Hatem is especially seeing patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, palindromic rheumatic and Sjogren's syndrome and non-autoimmune disorders
Dr. Hatem Eleishi: Saturday, Monday and Wednesday from 12 noon to 8 PM
Dr. Sally Samy: Monday and Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM
Dr. Dina Osama: Sunday 2 PM to 4 PM
