The physiotherapy unit (PT unit) at DHMC operates in collaboration with the arthritis (rheumatology clinics) to provide physiotherapy sessions for patients with different types of arthritis as osteoarthritis, neck and back pain, fibromyalgia and sports injuries and soft tissue rheumatism. It also work in collaboration with the neurology clinic and accepts patients with neurological disorders as stroke, gait disorders, facial palsy and cerebral palsy. 

The PT unit also accepts referrals from other clinics and centers who refer patients to DHMC. 

Referred patients from outside centers are not required to pay an extra fee for the doctors  at DHMC clinic in order to start their PT sessions. However, they might still be seen, for free by the doctors, to confirm that their diagnoses and to confirm that their prescribed PT programs match their diagnoses.
